Organic Food Really IS Better 4 U

HA!  Finally the organic farmers of the world - backyard variety on up - are vindicated!  It is now proven that organic food is considerably higher in antioxidants & flavanones and MUCH lower in pesticide residues.
BUY ORGANIC.

(I don't know why the eggplants - they're just cool I guess:-)

Sack o' Plants

Since moving to Texas we have missed our big Colorado garden.  My husband is a GREAT gardener and had the richest, most yummy (for plants and worms that is!) organic soil going on and he had terrific yield.  We didn't buy salad greens for about 6 months!  Truly.

Our teeny back yard here doesn't allow for gardening, so we're considering a deck version.  I found this terrific post on NotCot today, so here's the link.

I think I will make some sack planters out of waterproof ski garment fabrics I've had since my Lunachix days waaaay back when:-)  Keep you posted on the success of that venture...
look how lush she's made this little urban spot!
