This fun cape was just custom made for a lovely Colorado client out of her own fascinating shirts collected on her far-reaching world travels.  She sent shirts from Tanzania, Russia, Australia and many others and here is what I made for her!

10-11 shirts are needed and can fit any theme you so desire - your concert t's, marathon race t's, old college shirts from you & hubby, your children's favorites 'outgrowns' that you are hording in the garage....




I am also happy to custom make a bag or three out of your own shirts.  Here is one made for some Texans, and other examples are shown below.  Each one uses two complete shirts and I add beads complimenting the style of the t shirts.  The strap can be short or cross-body and is made from salvaged denim.  A cell/key pocket is inside.

A million years later - here's the latest bag.  I've been working like mad to get ready for a little gift show we're doing with the BadaBling Chix (www.badablingchix.com) this weekend, but here's a peek at the ORGANIC tote!  I'm so excited because the tote is incredibly sturdy ORGANIC COTTON canvas.  And it's built to last which is actually hard to find.

Of course, the appliques are vintage 60s fabric.
Look how much it holds!  Of all the bags I take to the grocer, this one is the best quality and holds the most.
